SolPurge Transparency & Safety

At SolPurge, your safety comes first.
This page explains how SolPurge works, how fees are handled, and what you can expect when using our tool.
Our goal is to keep everything simple, clear, and transparent.

How SolPurge Works

SolPurge helps you clean up empty or unused token accounts in your wallet and return the locked SOL back to you.

  • Everything happens on your device.
We do not build transactions on our server. Your browser constructs everything locally.

  • You always sign the transaction yourself.
Your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, and others) clearly shows what you are approving.

  • We never see your private key or seed phrase.
Your wallet manages all sensitive information.

  • Your SOL always goes directly back to your wallet.
The only exception is the small service fee described below.

Service Fee

SolPurge charges a 6% service fee from the SOL you reclaim.

  • The fee is only taken if the cleanup is successful.
If no SOL is reclaimed, you pay nothing.

Fee Wallet Address

All service fees go to this publicly listed address:

Users can verify all fee transactions on-chain at any time.

There are no hidden fees and no extra charges.

What You Will See When Signing

When approving a SolPurge transaction, your wallet will typically display two types of actions:

1. Close Account Instructions

These return SOL from unused token accounts back to you.

2. A Transfer Instruction

This transfers the 6% service fee to the fee wallet.

These are the only operations included.
No hidden transfers, token approvals, or unknown program calls are added.

What SolPurge Will Never Do

SolPurge will never:

  • Ask for your seed phrase or private key
  • Request permission to move or manage your tokens
  • Take any SOL or tokens beyond the stated service fee
  • Add hidden instructions or modify your balances
  • Use any custom or unknown smart contract
  • Hold your funds in custody

You remain in full control at all times.

Why SolPurge Does Not Use a Smart Contract

SolPurge is fully contract-free.
This improves user safety by avoiding:

  • Upgradeable contract risks
  • Locked or stuck funds
  • Unpredictable on-chain logic
  • Additional trust dependencies

All actions happen directly through your wallet, providing maximum clarity and control.

Open Source Components

To provide transparency, the part of SolPurge responsible for constructing transactions is open-source.
Users and developers can review the logic to confirm what instructions are generated.

How to Verify Everything Yourself

We encourage users to double check:

  • The fee wallet address
  • Every instruction your wallet displays before signing
  • That reclaimed SOL is returned directly to your wallet
  • That the only outgoing SOL is the clearly displayed service fee

Your wallet always provides full details before any approval.

Security Principles

SolPurge is built on straightforward safety principles:

  • All key-related actions stay in your wallet
  • We never store keys or request unsafe permissions
  • Our service fee is fixed and transparent
  • Our code is simple, readable, and easy to inspect
  • You make the final decision on every action

If anything looks unusual or unexpected, you should decline the transaction.
