A copy of a wallet tool can look like the original. The domain, the fee wallet, and the transaction you sign are the parts that decide where your SOL goes. This checklist helps you confirm that you are using the real Sol Purge.
The Only Official Domain
The only official Sol Purge site is www.solpurge.com. Treat every other domain as unofficial, including solpurge.xyz. A clone can copy the name and the layout, but it cannot change the host in your browser's address bar.
Read the domain before you connect a wallet. Do not rely on a search result, an ad, or a link in a direct message. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark you saved.
The Official Fee Wallet
The platform fee transfer goes to this address:
2UWvvHpLjTswWZMvh6VmKPUZPgwqRYDMngXNBraimaML
You can open it on Solscan.
When you sign a close transaction, your wallet shows the destination of the fee transfer. That destination must match this address. If it does not, reject the transaction. The official page always lists the current address.
Why a Clone Is Risky
A clone can show the same summary and button labels while it builds a different transaction. The most common change is the fee destination: the same 6% fee goes to a wallet the clone controls instead of the official fee wallet. The amount can look correct while the destination is wrong.
A clone can also ask for a seed phrase or private key, request a token approval, or keep a wallet connection open after you leave. None of those are part of the Sol Purge close flow.
Before You Sign: Checklist
- Domain. The address bar host is www.solpurge.com, not a lookalike that adds words before or after it.
- Fee wallet. The fee transfer destination matches the official fee wallet above. Compare the full address, not only the first and last characters.
- Instructions. The transaction contains
closeAccountinstructions, the platform fee transfer, an optional affiliate transfer, and compute-budget instructions. There is no custom program, no token approval, and no unexpected transfer. - Amounts. The gross rent, fee, network fee, and amount you receive match what you expect from the summary.
- No secrets. No page asks for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet password.
If any check fails, close the page and do not sign.
After It Confirms: Check On-Chain
Open the signature in an explorer such as Solscan. A confirmed transaction shows what it actually did:
- The selected token accounts are closed.
- The fee transfer goes to the official fee wallet.
- Any affiliate transfer, when present, goes to the affiliate wallet.
- The remaining SOL arrives in your wallet.
A confirmed transaction cannot be undone. If the fee went to a different wallet, report the site and contact your wallet provider. Do not send more funds to recover the first transfer.
What Sol Purge Never Asks For
- Your seed phrase or private key.
- Your wallet password.
- A token approval.
- A transfer to "verify" or "unlock" your wallet.
- Remote access to your device.
The close flow asks you to review and sign one or more transactions in your wallet. That is the only action it needs.
If You Find a Fake Site
Email support@solpurge.com with the domain, the transaction signature if there is one, and the wallet address involved. Do not include your seed phrase or private key. The published security contact and policy are in /.well-known/security.txt.
Keep Checking
Confirm the current fee wallet on the official page before you sign. The transparency page explains how fees work. If you want to estimate the SOL you can reclaim first, use the rent reclaim estimator.
